Sav-A-Kid® Milk Replacer may be top-dressed or mixed into grain, dry starter feed, or creep feed to encourage feed intake during the weaning period for kids, or to provide supplemental nutrients to stressed or under-conditioned goats. Mix 2 dry ounces (1/2 kitchen cup) into 1 pound of fresh dry feed daily. Discard any unconsumed dry feed each day to help avoid spoilage.

Storage

Refrigerate unused Sav-A-Kid® Milk Replacer solution immediately after mixing. Reheat gently over warm water and mix thoroughly before feeding. Do not microwave or freeze the solution. Discard unused refrigerated Sav-A-Kid® solution after 24 hours.

Store dry Sav-A-Kid® powder in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry place, and use within 6 months of manufacture whenever possible. Shelf life may be extended by freezing the dry powder in an airtight container.
