Add 2 ounces ( approximately 4 scoops) of Lamb & Kid Colostrum Replacer powder to 7 ounces of warm water. Mix thoroughly with a wire whisk. Allow mixture to cool to about 104 F, the animal’s approximate body temperature. See the feeding chart below for mixing directions.

**Plan 2-3 feedings of mixed solution within the first 8 hours. Refrigerate unused colostrum replacer solution promptly after mixing. Reheat gently over warm water and mix thoroughly before feeding. Do not microwave or freeze the solution. Discard any unused refrigerated colostrum replacer solution after 8 hours
To Replace Maternal Colostrum
Feed 7 fluid ounces of mixed solution per 4 lb of bodyweight. Split this mixed solution into 2-3 feedings over the first 8 hours of life.
To Supplement Maternal Colostrum
Feed 3.5 fluid ounces of mixed solution per 4 lb of bodyweight. The mixed solution can be added to maternal colostrum if ther is not enough quantity or if quality of the maternal colostrum is unknown as may be the case in multiple births. Lambs and Kids also benefit from feeding supplemental colostrum past day one.
