Calf Mixing Directions Remove the enclosed scoop. Add one 16-oz pouch of Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement powder to 1.5 quarts of warm water (105-110 F) and mix thoroughly with a wire whisk.
Lamb Mixing Directions Mix 1 enclosed scoop (1 ounce) of Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement powder into 3/4 cup (6 fluid ounces) of warm water thoroughly with a wire whisk.
Kid Mixing Directions Mix 1 enclosed scoop (1 ounce) of Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement powder into 3/4 cup (6 fluid ounces) of warm water thoroughly with a wire whisk.
Foal Mixing Directions Add 1 enclosed scoop (1 ounce) of Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement powder to 1 cup of warm water. Mix thoroughly using a wire whisk.
Cria Mixing Directions Add 1 enclosed scoop (1 ounce) of Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement powder to 3/4 cup (6 fluid ounces) of warm water. Mix thoroughly using a wire whisk.
Piglet Mixing Directions Add 1 enclosed scoop (1 ounce) of Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement powder to 2/3 cup (5-1/3 fluid ounces) of warm water. Mix thoroughly using a wire whisk.
Fawn & Elk Mixing Directions Combine 1 enclosed scoop (1 ounce) of Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement powder with 3/4 cup (6 fluid ounces) of warm water. Mix thoroughly using a wire whisk.
Calf Feeding Directions
Feed the entire volume of the mixture as soon as possible after birth in addition to the appropriate feeding of maternal colostrum. Repeat the feeding every 8 to 12 hours for the first 24 hours of life.
Once your calf is more than 24 hours old, provide Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement mixed 50:50 with prepared milk replacer for another 2 to 3 days before changing over to all milk replacer.
Lamb Feeding Directions
Offer 1/4 to 1/2 cup (2 to 4 fluid ounces) of solution every 4 hours. Provide the initial feeding as soon as possible after birth and continue feeding as directed for 24 hours.
Once your lamb is more than 24 hours old, provide Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement mixed 50:50 with prepared milk replacer for another 2 to 3 days before changing over to all milk replacer.
Goat Feeding Directions
Offer 1/4 to 1/2 cup (2-4 fluid ounces) of solution every 4 hours. Provide the initial feeding as soon as possible after birth and continue feeding as directed for 24 hours.
Note: Amounts suggested are for standard goat kids. Offer pygmy goat kids about half of the amount listed and adjust for body weight. Once your kid is more than 24 hours old, provide Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement mixed 50:50 with prepared milk replacer for another 2 to 3 days before changing over to all milk replacer.
Foal Feeding Directions
Offer 1 cup (8 fluid ounces) of solution as soon as possible after birth. For the first 24 hours, continue feeding 1 cup of solution every 2-3 hours.
Note: Amounts suggested are for a light breed foal that will mature at about 1,000 pounds. Pony foals will require about half and draft foals may require to twice the amounts listed. Adjust as needed for body weight.
Once your foal is more than 24 hours old, provide Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement mixed 50:50 with prepared milk replacer for another 2 to 3 days before changing over to all milk replacer.
Cria Feeding Directions
For llama crias: Offer 3/4 to 1 cup (6 to 8 fluid ounces) of solution every 4 hours.
For alpaca crias: Offer 1/2 to 3/4 cup (4 to 6 fluid ounces) of solution every 4 hours.
Provide the initial feeding as soon as possible after birth. For the next 24 hours, continue feeding as directed.
Once your cria is more than 24 hours old, provide Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement mixed 50:50 with prepared milk replacer for another 2 to 3 days before changing over to all milk replacer.
Piglet Feeding Directions
Offer 1 to 2 fluid ounces of solution every 2 to 3 hours. Provide the initial feeding as soon as possible after birth. For the next 24 hours, continue feeding as directed.
Once your piglet is more than 24 hours old, provide Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement mixed 50:50 with prepared milk replacer for another 2 to 3 days before changing over to all milk replacer.
Fawn & Elk Feeding Directions
For Fawns: Offer 1/4 cup (2 fluid ounces) of solution every 3 to 4 hours.
For Elk calves: Offer 1/2 cup (4 fluid ounces) of solution every 3 to 4 hours. Provide the initial feeding as soon as possible after birth. For the next 24 hours, continue feeding as directed. Warning: Hand-raised bucks and bulls can exhibit dangerous aggressive behavior. Minimize handling and consider castration for non-breeding animals.
Once your fawn or elk calf is more than 24 hours old, provide Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement mixed 50:50 with prepared milk replacer for another 2 to 3 days before changing over to all milk replacer.
Offer fresh water at all times.
