MIXING DIRECTIONS - CALVES Measure or weigh 350 grams (2 level-full scoops) of Ultra Start® 150 Colostrum Replacer powder. Add powder to 1-1/2 quarts of warm water at 110-120°F and mix thoroughly until completely dissolved. Allow the solution to cool to 100-105°F before feeding.

  MIXING DIRECTIONS - GOAT KIDS Measure or weigh 56.6 grams (fill scoop to 6 oz. line) of Ultra Start® 150 Colostrum Replacer powder. Add powder to 7 ounces of warm water at 110-120°F and mix thoroughly until completely dissolved. Allow the solution to cool to 100-105°F before feeding.

For best results bottle-feed Ultra Start® 150. Use an esophageal feeder only if necessary to ensure consumption
 

FEEDING DIRECTIONS - CALVES 
Feed the entire volume of solution as soon as possible after birth (within 2 hours if possible). Begin feeding milk replacer the next feeding 6-12
hours later. 
FEEDING DIRECTIONS - GOAT KIDS 
Feed the entire volume of solution as soon as possible after birth (within 2 hours if possible). Begin feeding milk replacer the next feeding 4-6
hours later. 

 

IMPORTANT: FOLLOW MIXING AND FEEDING DIRECTIONS 
Every calf and goat kid is an individual. The directions above are written for a calf that is 75-100 lbs. and for goat kids weighing 7-8 lbs. at birth. Adjust fluid amounts fed according to body weight and environmental conditions. Goat kids can typically consume 1 ounce of solution per 1 lb. of bodyweight. Consult with your veterinarian if you have questions.
